iPro initially chose an alternate test lab to GLI. Unfortunately, that’s where its challenges really began. Suddenly, iPro found itself backsliding against its timeframes and goals. A lack of communication from its initially chosen lab caused panic levels to rise throughout the organization and brought its efforts to a standstill. iPro needed testing done for its remote gaming server (RGS), player account management (PAM) platform, random number generator (RNG), games, KYC controls, and geolocation (in-field); it needed to make a change, and it needed to make it now.

GLI-19: Interactive Gaming Systems is a technical standard based on an extensive review of several key interactive gaming jurisdictions that have experienced success in regulating the inherently complex systems associated with iGaming. It was the first set of common standards for technical regulation of iGaming markets, encompassing the best practices in regulated jurisdictions from the U.S., Canada, and countries across Europe. The latest version, GLI-19 V3.0, represents the most highly developed set of technical requirements and practices available in the gaming industry. GLI-19 is especially important today as many jurisdictions across the globe have a pressing desire to implement internet gaming quickly. GLI-19, and all standards in the GLI library, are examples of how GLI can help its clients succeed in ways no other lab can.
With GLI’s world-class professionals and efficient processes, iPro’s testing was more accurate and more cost effective, all with better communication than they could have imagined. All testing was completed swiftly, yet thoroughly, and deadlines were met ahead of expectations. As iPro noted, GLI completed the entire project within the timeframe, which was half as much time as the previous lab had spent (without delivering results), ultimately enabling iPro to meet its business goals.
