HILLEGOM, The Netherlands (10 October 2016) – Gaming Laboratories International (GLI^®) is pleased to announce Devon Dalbock has been selected as General Manager of GLI Africa.

GLI’s Managing Director of GLI Europe and Africa Martin Britton said, “I am pleased to welcome Devon to the GLI Africa team, providing leadership support with our initiatives in South Africa and the Africa region as a whole. Devon brings with him many years of experience in the industry as well as his management skills. He will be responsible for driving and executing our business objectives while maintaining existing relationships.”

Dalbock joins GLI with over 20 years of management-level experience with organizations ranging from entrepreneurial ventures to multi-national companies. He has been a part of a valuable network of business contacts throughout South Africa, USA, Europe and Australia.

In his previous role as Gaming Business Unit Manager at Global Payment Technologies, he was challenged with designing and implementing a successful go-to-market strategy for the gaming business unit, managed direct lead generation and marketing activities and supervised relationships with casino equipment manufacturers.

As Systems Business Unit Manager at Aristocrat Technologies Africa, he was responsible for building and maintaining a positive image and infrastructure in order to support the existing customer base, growing the recurring revenue stream in order to ensure long-term stability and building a research and development capability to ensure agility.

He has held other management roles during his professional career, including Account Manager, Country Manager, Chief Executive Officer, Business Unit Manager/Key Accounts Manager, Sales Director and SAP Portfolio Manager.

Dalbock received a master’s degree in business administration from Milpark Business School and a sales management diploma from Varsity College. He has attended various trainings and seminars pertaining to leadership, strategy and sales.
