Some larger suppliers have active development studios situated around the world, and GLI works diligently to understand each individual team’s unique goals and ways of working. Getting to know them better allows GLI to serve them better, and build an atmosphere of open communication, teamwork, and trust. We adjust and work the way that is most comfortable for them.
Those strong relationships enable GLI to help suppliers, even when the client is facing an incredibly tight deadline. Such was the case when a major, global supplier of Class III and Class II games and cabinets approached GLI with an urgent goal: certify two games in less than three days. This was the moment GLI’s teams train for, and now was the time to prove ourselves.
We doubled resources, created an action plan, and quickly got buy-in from internal and external stakeholders. Then we sprang into action with a firm commitment to expedite processes at every level. Data Entry logged the project as soon as it was received. Engineering reallocated resources and projects, ensuring no other suppliers’ targets were jeopardized, and completed review of both games in less than two days. Quality Assurance processed the games, reviewed the work, and completed letter writing, all while Engineering continually monitored any QA questions and addressed them immediately.
GLI met the hard target date and both letters were issued ahead of deadline.
