LAKEWOOD, N.J. (August 25, 2026) – Gaming Laboratories International (GLI®) has been officially listed by Uzbekistan’s regulatory authority, National Agency of Perspective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPP), among the laboratories whose testing and certification reports are accepted.
With this official listing, operators and suppliers can now use GLI’s certification reports to launch their gaming products in the Uzbekistan market, ensuring a smooth and compliant path to market entry.
The market is now entering its operational phase, with four licenses already issued across two operators.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for GLI, solidifying its position in Uzbekistan, which is an emerging market in Central Asia. It reinforces GLI’s role as a trusted testing and regulatory laboratory in newly regulated and developing jurisdictions worldwide.
“Uzbekistan is on track to become a key regulated market in Central Asia and GLI is proud to be named among the first testing laboratories whose certification reports are accepted under the new framework. It reflects the depth of regulatory experience we bring to emerging markets. The NAPP leadership wants to ensure the growth of gaming unfolds in a controlled and sustainable way, and GLI is pleased to apply our global regulatory experience as Uzbekistan and the wider Central Asian gaming market continue to develop,” said Lucas Zavarise, Government & Regulatory Affairs Manager – EMEIA.
Earlier this month, GLI and NAPP leadership met to discuss the new framework and align on how GLI can support the market’s long-term growth. Because parts of the technical framework are still being established, GLI remains in active dialogue with NAPP as it works to refine the framework.
