Karen Sierra-Hughes to Speak on Responsible Gaming
Karen Sierra-Hughes will be participating in an important panel discussion on the topic: “Technologies to Guarantee Responsible Gambling and Consumer Protection” from 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, 2019. Don’t miss it!
Karen Sierra-Hughes develops new gaming jurisdictions throughout Latin America and the Caribbean while driving GLI’s strategy for both regulatory and business development. One of her main goals is to help the regions’ government agencies understand the importance of a well-regulated environment by providing valuable information that will lead to developed laws, decrees and regulations. She is an attorney with a specialization in Public Law and has a Masters in Commercial Law. Prior to joining GLI, she was the head of the Legal Department at the Panama Gaming Control Board and before that, she practiced law at a private law firm. She is well-known as a speaker in many international gaming conferences.
As Business Development Representative for GLI, Georges Didier Flores consolidates and strengthens GLI’s relationships with gaming regulators, manufacturers, and operators throughout the Latin American region. His professional background includes working in gaming operations and independent consultancies. He also has successfully introduced new products to local markets and has experience working in the administrative area of the public sector. After studying and taking courses in business administration and systems, he specialized in management development at the Pacífico del Perú University.
