As Director of Latin America and Caribbean Government Relations and Business Development, Karen Sierra-Hughes is responsible for developing new gaming jurisdictions throughout Latin America and the Caribbean while driving GLI’s strategy for both regulatory and supplier development. One of her main goals is to help the regions’ government agencies understand the importance of a well-regulated environment by providing valuable information that will lead to developed laws, decrees and regulations. She also analyzes the gaming environment in each jurisdiction to determine the regulatory development opportunities as well as promotes regulatory training in the technical aspects of the gaming industry.
As Latin America Government Relations and Business Development Representative, Georges Didier consolidates and strengthens GLI’s relationship with gaming regulators, manufacturers and operators. His professional background includes working in operations and commercial areas for various gaming companies. He has successfully introduced new products to local markets and has conducted independent consultancies. He also has public sector administrative experience. Didier specialized in management development at the Pacífico del Perú University.
Gaming Colombia 2019 is a tradeshow based on the union between Asojuegos and Fecoljuegos to review the reputation, activity, and integrity of luck and chance games. The show aims to bring together the industry for two days in the same academic and commercial setting of the gaming industry. This important event brings together leaders, businessmen, decision-makers and government representatives in the field.
