Casino Esports Conference is a two-day hands-on conference connecting the casino world directly to the esport players, marketers, developers, products, services, event providers, lawyers, and educators. This event provides the most face to face and informative connections to facilitate the infrastructure for gaming establishments looking to incorporate the esport gaming world, as well as iGaming and skill-based gaming. In addition, this year’s CEC will include topics and discussion addressing the new legal developments regarding sports betting in the United States.

As the leader of GLI’s® esports program, Alan K. Scott brings a unique combination of professional capabilities, extensive videogame and esports experience, and paradigm shifting perspective to his distinctive role within GLI.
Alan has been immersed in the world of videogames since childhood. An avid gamer, he originally strove to be a game designer. His passion for gaming evolved into a successful clan of fellow gamers spawning a YouTube channel with hundreds of subscribers and a dedicated forum, which he created and helmed. He has also served as a play-by-play esports caster for various events, and consultant for aspiring videogame streamers. Additionally, Alan is a highly ranked player in his own right.
At GLI, Alan has leveraged his technical knowledge of computer systems and his personal videogame and esports experience to develop dedicated esports classes for GLI University® helping to bridge the technological and cultural gap between regulators, operators, and incoming patrons, whilst pioneering GLI’s involvement in the space. Furthermore, he’s coordinated several internal tournaments to introduce GLI employees to esports.
Alan began his GLI career in 2016 as an Engineering Test Technician before advancing to Compliance. While in Engineering, he worked on products from various manufacturers, including Spielo, Sega Sammy, Bally, and Everi. With a background in computer engineering, Alan specialized in interoperability, protocol, and emulation testing. As a Technical Compliance Engineer, he ensures a consistently high level of quality, working to improve internal processes and research cutting-edge industry technologies to keep GLI at the forefront of innovation.
